Japan marks 4th anniv. of deadly disaster
People in the northeastern Japan town of Minamisanriku fall silent in front of the wrecked town government's building at 2:46 p.m. on March 11, 2015, to commemorate those who were killed in the earthquake and tsunami at the same time four years ago. Forty-three officials died when the building was engulfed by tsunami, and it is still being discussed whether to conserve it as a memorial to convey the importance of disaster prevention. (Kyodo)
