U.S. ex-army engineer recounts experience of seeing 1st A-bomb test
Roger Rasmussen, 94, speaks in an interview at the Los Alamos Historical Museum on April 2, 2015, two days prior to one of two public openings of the Trinity test site at the White Sands Missile Range. Rasmussen served in the U.S. Army's special engineering detachment as an electrical engineer at Los Alamos Laboratory during the Manhattan Project.
