Japan to promote 500 specialty local products abroad

Japanese government officials view some of the "Wonder 500" local specialty products chosen from across the country in Tokyo on Aug. 27, 2015. The government will undertake public relations activities abroad from September to promote the 500 products, including a versatile tin product that can be used either as an ash tray or a single-flower vase, in places such as Paris, Hong Kong and New York.
