Tsunami-hit school site in north Japan turned into solar power plant
Photo taken on Sept. 5, 2015, shows a mega solar power plant built at the former site of Okawa Junior High School in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan. The school was ravaged by the 2011 earthquake and ensuing tsunami, and eventually closed due to depopulation. (Kyodo)
