Foreign residents affected by flooding in Japan
Self-employed Bhuiyan Nizam from Bangladesh stands on Sept. 11, 2015, in front of his house in Joso, Ibaraki Prefecture, which was hit hardest by recent torrential rain and flooding. Nizam and other foreigners living in the city northeast of Tokyo are finding it difficult to cope as their ability to speak Japanese is limited. (Kyodo)
