METI seeks to promote business partnerships between Kansai, Israel

Soichiro Seki, head of the Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, speaks at a news conference in Osaka on Sept. 16, 2015, about measures to promote business partnerships between companies in western Japan's Kansai region and Israel. The bureau, a regional office of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Indusrty, and the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the same day plans to take advantage of Irael's establishment of a trade office in Osaka later this year.
