Man in news: Conductor of chorus group comprising A-bomb survivors
Conductor Kazumichi Terai performs on April 14, 2015, in leading the choral society "Himawari" made up of some 50 survivors of the 1945 atomic bombing of Nagasaki, southwestern Japan. The group, whose average age is 77, sings not only at an annual peace memorial ceremony on Aug. 9 but in some overseas cities. (Kyodo)
