Japanese man seeks to return WWII navy soldiers' photos to kin
Toshio Katae, owner of a construction firm in Fukuoka, shows two of a few dozen portrait photos of young soldiers of the now-defunct Imperial Japanese Navy during an interview in the southwestern Japanese city on Sept. 15, 2015. Katae found the photos from among the belongings of his late father, who was an instructor at the Navy's Sasebo marine corps, and has been trying to locate survivors or kin to return the photos to them.
