Shop of notebooks for "holy stamps" proves hit in western Japan
Photo taken on Sept. 5, 2015, shows one of the notebooks sold at "Shirube" in the western Japanese city of Matsue. It is one of the few shops that specialize in notebooks for "goshuin" holy stamps given at Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. Collecting these stamps has become popular among some women. (Kyodo)
