Japanese school in Beijing faces plunging number of students

The number of students at the Japanese school for elementary and secondary education in Beijing's Zaoyang district, pictured in September 2014, has been decreasing sharply possibly because of anti-Japanese campaigns and severe air pollution in the Chinese capital. The number of students stood at some 600 in 2013 but fell below 500 last year, dropping further to 398 at the end of September. (Kyodo) ==Kyodo
