Horseback archer aims to shoot arrow at shrine festival in Nikko
An archer on a galloping horse prepares to shoot an arrow at a wooden target during an autumn festival at the Nikko Toshogu shrine in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, north of Tokyo, on Oct. 16, 2015. The festival marked the 400th anniversary of the death of Tokugawa Ieyasu, founder of the Tokugawa shogunate that ruled Japan between 1603 and 1867, to whom the Shinto shrine is dedicated. (Kyodo)
