Man proposes tour of 88 treasure spots on Shikoku Island
Tetsuya Sato, president of a liquor retailer in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, western Japan, points his finger on Oct. 5, 2015, in the direction of Ozuchi Island (L, back) in the Seto Inland Sea. Sato has mapped out a tour of 88 spots on Shikoku Island that have myths and historical backgrounds concerning money and treasure, similar to the 88-temple pilgrimage route. The uninhabited island of Ozuchi is the No. 78 spot where a pirate clan's treasure-trove is said to remain buried. (Kyodo)
