More than 11,700 talisman cloth dolls hung for Guinness record
More than 11,700 "teruteru bozu" cloth dolls are hung in the yard of Takase Junior High School in Ikeda, Nagano Prefecture, central Japan, on Oct. 23, 2015, in a bid for registration as a Guinness world record. Japanese children make such dolls as talismans to pray for fine weather. (Kyodo)
