Men in armor walk from Tokyo to shrine in Nikko
Some 100 people, including men in armored outfits of feudal samurai, leave the plaza in front of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Oct. 24, 2015, to set off for a 150-km walk to the Nikko Toshogu Shinto shrine in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, founder of the Tokugawa shogunate (1603-1867). The year 2015 marks the 400th anniversary of Ieyasu's death. (Kyodo)
