FM Wang sees history issues as unavoidable at 3-nation summit
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stresses at a symposium in Beijing on Oct. 27, 2015, that historical issues cannot be avoided at a summit meeting of leaders from Japan, China and South Korea, scheduled to be held in Seoul on Nov. 1. In a speech at the symposium, he called on Japan to show repentance over its "wrongdoings in the past," alluding to brutalities by Japanese soldiers in China before and during World War II. (Kyodo)
