Sushi school to open in northwestern Japan town to lure tourists
Foreign students learn how to make sushi on Oct. 2, 2015, from a professional chef (L) during a lesson at a sushi school set to open in late November in the Shinminato district of Toyama Prefecture's Imizu city, northwestern Japan. Local store managers have founded the school to lure tourists for hands-on experience following the launch last March of the Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet train line linking Tokyo and Kanazawa via the prefecture.
