Woman eager to reopen bathhouse washed away by 2011 tsunami
Masako Horoiwa (R) smiles as she talks with an old customer on Nov. 10, 2015, at a place where her public bathhouse used to stand in Miyako, Iwate Prefecture, before it was washed away by the 2011 tsunami that hit the northeastern Japanese region of Tohoku following a devastating earthquake. The 76-year-old woman is eager to reopen the bathhouse, frequented by fishermen visiting the port town from across Japan. (Kyodo)
