N. Korean leader's birthday remains non-holiday
A North Korean calendar for 2016 photographed on Nov. 24, 2015, shows that Jan. 8, the birthday of country leader Kim Jong Un, is treated as a non-holiday as before. Multiple calendars of North Korea obtained by Kyodo News confirmed the finding, while birthdays of his father Kim Jong Il (Feb. 16) and grandfather Kim Il Sung (April 15) are marked as public holidays.
