Few signs of reconstruction in Nepal one year after quakes
Photo taken April 20, 2016, shows Barpak village in western Nepal's Gorkha district, which was the epicenter of a deadly quake that struck on April 25, 2015. The magnitude 7.8 quake destroyed or damaged 98% of the village's 1,447 houses, turning the village into a shantytown of tin shelters. Reconstruction grants pledged by the government have yet to reach the village. (Kyodo)
