Seared lunchbox, other relics reveal scars of A-bomb attack on Hiroshima
A photo taken May 13, 2016 shows a lunch box that belonged to Shigeru Orimen, a student who died age 13, in the 1945 atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The contents of the box were charred in the ensuring conflagration. The item was donated by Shigeko Orimen. These and other artifacts showing the consequences of the nuclear attack are housed at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. (Kyodo)
