Hong Kong lawyers protest against China
Lawyers and other people dressed in black suits and neckties march through the streets of Hong Kong on Nov. 8, 2016, in protest at the Chinese parliament's decision to effectively bar two newly elected Hong Kong pro-independence lawmakers. The Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress unanimously approved a decision the previous day that lawmakers who do not swear allegiance to Hong Kong as part of China are in violation of the Basic Law.
