Solomon Island villages shrinking due to rising sea levels
Steven Hari, a Busu village resident in the Solomon Islands, points to a fresh water well, built by his ancestors roughly 150 years ago, on Nov. 4, 2017. The rise in the sea level has caused the fresh water supply to be contaminated with salt water and now the island residents rely on rainwater collected in tanks. (Kyodo)
