Filipino, Japanese youth urged to remember infamous Death March
Photo taken on Sept. 29, 2017 shows the Philippine flag on the left and a 73-meter obelisk on the right that stands as the focal feature of the Capas National Shrine in Tarlac Province, north of Manila, Philippines, and symbolizes peace. The shrine is on the site of Capas Concentration Camp, where Filipino and American prisoners of war who survived the infamous 1942 Bataan Death March were incarcerated by the Imperial Japanese Imperial during World War II.
