Equestrian festival in Japan
A young man rides a horse over a 2-meter-high clay wall in a festival at Tado Taisha, a Shinto shrine in Kuwana in Mie Prefecture, central Japan, on May 4, 2018. In the festival said to date back to the 14th century, it is believed that the greater the number of times horses successfully make it over the wall, the better the crop in the region. (Kyodo)
