Monuments to slain Japanese doctor Nakamura
A ceremony to unveil two stone monuments dedicated to slain Japanese physician Tetsu Nakamura, known for years of aid work in Afghanistan, is held on Feb. 27, 2021, in Asakura, Fukuoka Prefecture, southwestern Japan. The Fukuoka native was gunned down in December 2019 in Jalalabad, eastern Afghanistan.
