Message says "24 hours left" for Islamic State's Japanese hostage
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga meets with reporters on Jan. 28, 2015, at the prime minister's office in Tokyo, after a new video message apparently showing Japanese journalist Kenji Goto, taken hostage by a group believed to be Islamic State militants, was posted online. A man who claims to be Goto demands that Jordan swiftly release an Iraqi woman on death row for an attempted suicide bombing in Jordan, saying he has "24 hours left to live." (Kyodo)
