Japan defends confiscation of passport over Syria trip plan
Photo taken Feb. 8, 2015, shows a document handed to Yuichi Sugimoto, a 58-year-old Japanese freelance photographer, by a Foreign Ministry official ordering Sugimoto to return his passport.
