Polar bear eats big rice cake for Girls' Day festival at zoo
Female polar bear Maruru eats a large "hishimochi" rhombic rice cake at the Kumamoto City Zoological and Botanical Gardens in the southwestern Japan city on March 3, 2015. Rhombus-shaped rice cakes are symbolic sweets offered for the annual "Hina-matsuri" or Girls' Day traditional festival celebrated across Japan.
