U.S. awards Japanese woman for empowering women
Sayaka Osakabe, a Japanese woman, receives the International Women of Courage Award from the U.S. State Department in Washington on March 6, 2015, for her fight against "maternity harassment," or the unfair treatment of pregnant working women. She said the award is "encouragement to all working women in Japan." (Kyodo)
