Fossils found in Fukui recognized as new dinosaur species

Fossils of a new species of Iguanodontia excavated in Katsuyama, Fukui Prefecture, and a reconstructed diagram (back) of the full skeleton are shown at the Fukui prefectural government office on March 9, 2015. The new species has been given the scientific name "Koshisaurus katsuyama" after Koshinokuni, an old Japanese name that refers to what is now the Hokuriku region to which the western Japan prefecture belongs.
