Replica of Tohaku's painting unveiled at Kyoto temple
Replica of the pictures on sliding paper doors, painted by Hasegawa Tohaku around the year 1600 and designated as a nationally important cultural property, is unveiled on March 31, 2015, at Nanzenji temple in Kyoto, western Japan. A total of 32 panels produced with digital technology over five years will be opened to the public from April 1 to 12. (Kyodo)
