Japan minister Arimura visits controversial Yasukuni Shrine
Haruko Arimura, Japan's minister in charge of women's empowerment, enters the war-linked Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo on April 23, 2015. Eriko Yamatani, head of National Public Safety Commission and minister in charge of disaster management, also visited the shrine, which has been a source of diplomatic friction between Japan and several of its Asian neighbors.
