Suzuki sets record for most runs by Japanese player
The Miami Marlins' Ichiro Suzuki singles to right with two out in the eighth inning of an 8-0 win over the Washington Nationals in Miami, the United States, on April 25, 2015. The 41-year old Suzuki went on to score on Adeiny Hechavarria's three-run homer, having his 1,310th big league run to give him 1,968 between Japan and the majors, the most ever by a Japanese player.
