Yoshinoya beef rice bowl chain begins bistro service at selected shops

A waitress at a Tokyo outlet of Yoshinoya Co. known for its low-priced "gyudon" rice bowl topped with beef serves beer on April 20, 2015, at the start of bistro service in the evening. Yoshinoya will increase the number of its restaurants offering the service, under which alcoholic beverages and snacks are provided, to about 300 by the end of June, or around 30 percent of the total.
