People climb to Japan's "most dangerous national treasure"
People climb to the Nageiredo Buddhist temple, known as Japan's "most dangerous national treasure," on a cliff-like steep slope of Mt. Mitoku in Misasa, Tottori Prefecture, western Japan, as seen in this photo taken in November 2007. The government has designated the town featuring the temple and other time-honored facilities as one of Japan Heritage sites aimed at revitalizing local tourism and economic activity. (Kyodo)
