Volunteers creating huge field maze in quake-hit Fukushima city
Takayuki Ueno, a 42-year-old volunteer, is working to create a giant maze in his "nanohana" canola flower field in Minamisoma, Fukushima Prefecture, together with other people. They are seeking to encourage children with bitter memories of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster that devastated the northeastern Japanese region. (Kyodo)
