Over 1,000 T-shirts hang on beach as art event in Kochi, west Japan

More than 1,000 T-shirts, with illustrations and photos printed on them, flutter on the beach in Kuroshio, Kochi Prefecture, western Japan, as an annual art event on May 2, 2015. The six-day event, through May 7, was the 27th such undertaking and involved T-shirts made from cotton cultivated without pesticides based on artwork from Japan and other countries, including Ghana and Sweden.
