White stork travels 150 km to build nest in Tokushima, western Japan
A pair of Oriental white storks wade in a paddy field in Naruto, Tokushima Prefecture, western Japan, on May 10, 2015. One of them, a male stork, identified from information on its leg band, was found to have built a nest in Naruto after traveling some 150 kilometers across the Seto Inland Sea from Toyooka, Hyogo Prefecture, where it was born.
