Japan to ban eateries from serving raw pork in mid-June

The health ministry said May 27 that restaurants in Japan will be banned from serving raw pork including liver from mid-June, requiring it to be heat-sterilized to prevent food poisoning, following a similar 2012 ban on beef liver.
