Paintings by Maruki couple to be exhibited in Saitama Pref.
A painting by the late Iri and Toshi Maruki created in the motif of an arms factory after their visit to Nagasaki in 1953 is seen exhibited at the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum in the southwestern Japanese city on May 22, 2015. Their artworks including the painting will be displayed at the Maruki Gallery for the Hiroshima Panels in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama Prefecture, from June 3. The couple was based in that eastern Japanese prefecture. (Kyodo)
