Japanese patrol plane flies over South China Sea off Philippines
A P3-C patrol aircraft of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force proceeds to aircraft parking space on Palawan, the westernmost of the major islands of the Philippines, after its familiarization flight over the South China Sea near the island on June 23, 2015. The aircraft landed on Palawan on June 21 to participate in a training exercise with the Philippine military, the main part of which will be held on June 24. (Kyodo)
