Anti-nuclear ship Golden Rule repaired in U.S. to sail again
Shigeko Sasamori (L), a Japanese survivor of the 1945 atomic bombing of Hiroshima and a resident in the United States, throws a champagne bottle against the refurbished Golden Rule during a launching ceremony in Humboldt Bay in California on June 20, 2015. Sasamori was joined by Kate Benton, daughter of Albert Bigelow who captained the ship and inspired a widespread struggle against nuclear arms tests in the 1950s. (Kyodo)
