Okinawa governor stresses importance of freedom of expression

Okinawa Gov. Takeshi Onaga attends the prefectural assembly in Naha on June 29, 2015. It was also reported that novelist and former NHK board member Naoki Hyakuta attended a meeting with the quartet and said two major Okinawa newspapers critical of the government over U.S. military bases and other issues should be destroyed.
