Japan welcomes China's move to distribute maternity books
Kiyoko Fukuda (c), wife of former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda and adviser to a domestic organization promoting handbooks on maternal and child health, shows a senior official from China her own handbook provided by a local government following her childbirth during their encounter at the National Diet building in Tokyo on June 29, 2015. China has decided to distribute Japanese-style handbooks to expectant women to enable them to manage their own and their newborn babies' health records together. (Kyodo)
