Japan celebrates addition of industrial sites to UNESCO listing
People celebrate in front of the city government office of Kamaishi, northeastern Japan, on July 6, 2015, the morning after the UNESCO World Heritage Committee decided to add the city's Hashino iron mining and smelting site as "Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution" to the World Cultural Heritage list. Around 200 children also gathered there to celebrate the decision. (Kyodo)
