Discount blitz launched for flights to Sendai to revive tourism

Miyagi Gov. Yoshihiro Murai introduces a poster promoting the launch of a discount campaign for visitors traveling to Sendai by air from Fukuoka, Chubu Centrair and Hiroshima airports between Sept. 5 and Dec. 19 at a news conference in the prefectural government office on July 6, 2015. Discounts of up to 10,000 yen, to be shouldered by the northeastern Japan prefecture, will be applied to flight tickets when purchased together with accommodation reservations via websites or over the counter at travel agents.
