Girl sent to medical reformatory over murder of classmate in Sasebo
A vehicle carrying a 16-year-old girl who killed a female classmate in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture, in 2014, leaves the Nagasaki Family Court in the southwestern Japan prefecture on July 13, 2015. The court decided the same day to send the girl to a juvenile medical reformatory, judging that criminally punishing her would make things worse. (Kyodo)
