Japan airport dealing with massive souvenir buying by Chinese
Photo taken July 3, 2015 shows a man in a duty-free souvenir store at Narita airport near Tokyo affixing a sticker aimed at preventing travelers from exceeding carry-on baggage restrictions. A massive souvenir buying spree by Chinese travelers has been one of the main causes of flight delays at Narita as travelers often buy souvenirs that exceed carry-on baggage restrictions and end up taking extra time re-checking in their baggage. On the other hand, Chinese visitors have boosted a wide range of Japanese businesses. (Kyodo)
