Japan aims to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 26% by 2030
A meeting is held at the prime minister's office in Tokyo to discuss measures against global warming on July 17, 2015. The government officially decided on a goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 26 percent in 2030 from 2013 levels, as part of efforts to reach a new international agreement at the end of the year to tackle climate change.
