"Water Fan" draws popularity
Photo taken June 2015 shows Manabu Ieda, who runs a Japanese paper-processing company in the central Japan city of Gifu, holding a "water fan." The fan made from extremely thin Japanese paper, or "washi," is priced at around 9,000 yen, but people rush to purchase it as it is lighter than ordinary fans and more water resistant. (Kyodo)
